about

There was enjoyment in making this one but it was made out of indecisiveness. A rare, sweet intention song that sort of turned angry because of a usual knee jerk response to negativity. I thought about the song more and less about the message and emotion. The intended romance was eventually lost, and so into the failure pile you go.

lyrics

They tried to swim around as a friend
Instead they drowned, they slowly drowned
And still they praised her body this whole time
Her craft, her designs, her waves could make one believe
A whole dance with claps, stealth, taps and twirling around
In their minds, this was an achievement
In no time did they ever feel betrayed
As they tried to swim around as a friend
Instead they drowned, they slowly drowned
And yet to praise her stories their whole lives
Such whims, such demands, such acts to give her what she needs
Who could they deceive!?
They're all underachievers with sad songs of love, life, gods and hanging around
In their minds, this was all within their reach
In no time did they ever feel that they would fail
and so they drowned

about

TheRingmaster (Francissistic) Philippines

"Francis keeps things mellowed down and a little feminine, basking in heart-stabbing, downtempo pop that goes to as far as conquering all hell and mud in pursuit of love. This time, he’s restless not with himself, but with his art, his woman, and the need to express himself. " - Vandals On The Wall ... more
